Battle Point Park is located between Arrow Point Drive and Battle Point Drive with Frey Avenue being the northern boundary. The main, and east, entrance is on Arrow Point Drive with another entrance on Battle Point Drive.
The park totals 90.3 acres, is a former naval radio station, and is largely open space with two ponds, jogging trail, fitness course, two soccer fields, three softball fields, horse area, a picnic shelter, two tennis courts, sand volleyball court, play areas, two basketball courts shared with a roller hockey court, a large children's play structure, garden plots, and the Park District maintenance shop and offices. The recently renovated Transmitter Building is used for gymnastics classes and camps.

The Battle Point Astronomical Association (http://www.bpastro.org) has developed an astronomy center in the former "Helix House".
The asphalt jogging path is used by bikes, skaters and walkers.

There has been extensive tree planting and a rose garden has been planted at the entrance to the park.
The pea patches contain 28 garden plots with new gardeners taking over as former gardeners leave.

Battle Point Park Soccer Fields Improvement Project Information:
Our old rubber and sand soccer fields have been replaced with new drainage and two new durable FieldTurf fields for enhanced playability and safety. This community project has been a cooperative effort between the Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District, the Bainbridge Island Youth Soccer Club, and private and public donors.
