I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated the work of Jim Peek in engineering the closing of my property.
Having owned my home for over 20 years, I didn't realize the amount of work needed on both the seller's and buyer's part to get a house through escrow. Because I didn't have a real estate agent representing me as the seller, Jim Peek, who represented the buyer, with grace and professionalism, helped to negotiate a closing price with his buyer and guided me through the escrow and closing process, which was filled with more glitches than I would have imagined.
I was always aware that Jim was representing his buyer first, but I never felt as if Jim was taking advantage of my lack of knowledge in the process. In fact, Jim was helping by taking care of many of the items that an agent representing me would have done.
Jim was diligent and knowledgeable about confusing laws tied to wells and septic systems that could have caused problems with the completion of this sale.
